Why Choose a Braided Cotton Lead Rope?

Braided cotton provides a combination of strength, flexibility and comfort in the hand.

This makes it particularly useful for a lead rope that is handled frequently throughout the day.

• Grooming and handling.

How to Use

Attach the clip securely to the appropriate ring on the horse's halter or headcollar.

Hold the rope correctly with any excess folded rather than tightly wrapped around your hand.

When leading, maintain a safe position beside the horse and avoid allowing the rope to become wrapped around your hand, wrist or body.

Care Instructions

Rinse away mud, dirt and sweat when required.

Allow the rope to air-dry naturally away from direct heat to help maintain the cotton's condition.

Regularly remove dirt and grit from the clip and check both the rope and hardware for excessive wear or damage.

Safety

Never wrap a lead rope around your hand, wrist or body when handling a horse.

If tying a horse, use an appropriate quick-release method or suitable safety tying system and never leave a tied horse unattended in an unsafe environment.

Replace the lead rope if the cotton becomes significantly frayed or if the clip is damaged or no longer operates securely.
