Whinny & Woof was founded by Heather and Kane, a wife and husband team whose lives have always revolved around a deep love for animals. Heather grew up in Scotland where she rode competitively for her childhood. She has now rekindled her passion for horses through her daughter and her special pony. Kane, on the other hand, grew up surrounded by dogs and cats, learning first-hand the joy and companionship that pets bring into our lives.

Their journey led them to the picturesque community of Hout Bay, Cape Town, where they recognized a need in the local area for a dedicated equestrian and pet store that offers both quality products and personalized service, Heather and Kane decided to turn their shared dream into reality.
