Protek Flyzone Bait & Bag

Protek Flyzone Bait & Bag is a practical fly-trapping solution designed to help manage nuisance fly populations around properties, stables, gardens and other outdoor areas.

The trap uses an attractant bait to draw flies into a trapping system, where they are contained in a collection bag. The bag helps keep captured insects contained, making the trap a convenient option for ongoing fly management.

Ideal for properties where flies are a nuisance, Protek Flyzone Bait & Bag can form part of a broader fly-control and hygiene programme around animals, waste areas and outdoor spaces.

How Does Protek Flyzone Bait & Bag Work?

The trap uses a bait with an odour that attracts flies towards the trapping system.

1. Attracts flies

The bait releases an odour that attracts flies towards the trap.

2. Traps and contains them

The trapping system prevents captured flies from readily escaping into the surrounding environment.

3. Collects captured insects

The bag holds the trapped insects for easier handling and disposal according to the product instructions.

Where Can It Be Used?

Depending on the manufacturer's instructions, a bait-and-bag fly trap may be useful around:

• Horse stables and equestrian properties.

• Gardens and outdoor spaces.

• Refuse and waste-storage areas.

• Farmyards and suitable agricultural settings.

• Outdoor areas where nuisance flies gather.

Placement matters: baited fly traps can attract flies into the immediate area. Position the trap away from stable doors, animal feeding areas, outdoor dining spaces and other locations where attracting additional flies would be undesirable.

Supporting Better Fly Control

Fly traps work best as part of an integrated fly-management routine. For better results:

• Remove manure and organic waste regularly.

• Keep bins and waste containers covered.

• Clean feed spills promptly.

• Manage standing water where possible.

• Place traps strategically away from animals and people.

• Check and replace or dispose of the trap as directed by the manufacturer.
