Epol Premium Roughage Cubes 40kg

Epol Premium Roughage Cubes 40kg – High-Fibre Forage Support for Horses

Epol Premium Roughage Cubes are high-fibre forage cubes designed to help stretch available hay when supplies are limited or when the quality of available roughage is not ideal.

These cubes provide a consistent, convenient source of roughage and can be particularly useful for horses that struggle to consume long-stem forage. They can also be soaked to a softer consistency, making them suitable for dentally challenged horses.

Unlike fully fortified feeds, Premium Roughage Cubes contain no added vitamins or minerals, making them useful alongside a separate fully fortified feed where additional roughage is required without unnecessarily adding another vitamin and mineral source.

Pelleted forage can also help reduce wastage compared with long-stem hay and provides a consistent product manufactured under controlled conditions.

Feeding Information

When using Premium Roughage Cubes to replace a significant portion of a horse's hay intake, feed them in small, regular meals to encourage a steady intake of fibre and chewing activity.

The cubes can be soaked when a softer feed consistency is required, particularly for horses with dental challenges.

When introducing them as a new feed or increasing the proportion of forage cubes in the ration, make changes gradually.

Because Premium Roughage Cubes contain no added vitamins and minerals, consider the horse's complete diet and ensure appropriate vitamin and mineral supplementation is provided where required.

Always provide fresh, clean drinking water.
