Indiana Ear Veil (Navy / cob only)

FAQs

What does the Indiana Ear Veil do?
It covers the horse's ears to help protect them from flies while also helping to soften distracting environmental noise.

Can an ear veil help a nervous horse?
For horses that are sensitive to flies or environmental noise, reducing these distractions may help them remain more settled and focused. An ear veil should not be described as a treatment for anxiety or behavioural problems.

Can it be used for everyday riding?
Yes. It is suitable for everyday schooling and training.

Can I compete in an ear veil?
Ear veils are permitted in many equestrian disciplines, but requirements can vary. Always check the current rules of the relevant governing body before competing.

Does it completely block noise?
No. An ear veil should not be expected to completely block sound. Its purpose is to provide ear coverage and, depending on its construction, help reduce some environmental distraction.

What sizes and colours are available?
These details were not included in the supplied product information and should be added according to your current stock.

Important

I would not use the original claim “Calms nervous & anxious horses” as an absolute statement. A safer and more accurate version is:

“Helps reduce environmental distractions for horses that are sensitive to noise and busy surroundings.”

This still communicates the intended benefit without suggesting that the ear veil treats anxiety.
